I began editing photos on Adobe Photoshop CS3. After a lot of trial and error I found an effect that makes photos look like drawings called "Sketch". The sketch feature was approved by the group and gave a homemade feel to the Digipak artwork.
I removed the colour and lowered contrast, whilst hightening brightness of the photos. This process allowed me to create an album with photos that look like rough sketches on plain paper, different to our original ideas.

After many filter effects were applied, such as decolouring, adjusting brightness and contrast and adding strength to black; sketch was applied and transformed this to the following photo. |

From here I cropped out the pawn and square and moved it to the right to allow space for track listing. |
